Well, then.
It's that time of the year again, when some people douse themselves with alcohol and dance, others try to make New Year resolutions, and mutant zombie squirrels worldwide break out their stash of acorns.
...in my timezone, anyway.
But perhaps more importantly, it's a reminder to look forward to the new year, and to enjoy it to the fullest - with yourself and the people that matter: your family and friends. Too often do we overlook those that we hold dear, and before you know it, another year has slipped away. Time flows so so quickly - I myself caught myself grasping at the last sands of the year still wondering.
So enjoy. Stop and smell the roses. Plug out your earphones for a while, listen to the sounds of the bus and the world around you, people talking, a car horn. Tell a family member you love them. Try something interesting, something new. Be cautious, be safe, play dirty but don't get caught. Live a little bigger, forgive more, love more, hate less.
Here's my wish for this year: May all of you (yes, that includes you) have a blessed year ahead, full of joy and smiles, good dreams coming true and wisdom for the incoming times.
Live life to the fullest, carpe the carp, and happy New Year, everybody!

So, I figured I'd drop a line, since it's rare now that I've really sent any of you guys emails that span for a good deal of time. I kinda miss those days, actually, but hey. Seeing how busy we all are (not to mention how much things are changing), it's justified.
Doesn't mean I'm giving up or anything. Just means I gotta be more patient. Or more outgoing. Take yer pick. xD

Finishing up the first semester already myself~ Only 1 more, but I gotta work my arse off (Math) to make sure I pass it! (fist pump)

I'm sorry; I haven't been checking the forums at all.
In reply, I'm actually not sure which path Eevee will take.
My original plan was for her to stay as Ee until the end -- but I'm open to new ideas. I'm actually surprised a lot would prefer to see her evolved.
If she wants to have a type advantage over Lucario though, her only choice at the moment is Flareon, since Lucario is only weak to fire, ground, and fighting. (and there aren't any ground or fighting Eeveelutions yet)

I'm a sentimental-ish kind of person, I'd rather see her an Eevee to the end. Still, there's no telling where this might go; I might even enjoy her evolving. XD
Eh. With the way Pokemon is going, I'm pretty surprised that there weren't any more Eeveelutions introduced (at least, that that I know of.) XD

I've been thinking about some conversations that I had on DA and the conversation I had with you about the situation in Japan came up.
I realized that an arguement wasn't really the best way introduce ourselves.

As for what's up - nothing much, really.
If you must know, I'm serving through my country's mandatory national service for now (ie. running around in soldier fatigues) so I kinda understand your arguments in that dimension a little more, haha. Probably also explains why I reply to everything on dA, including our discussion, later than I wish to, though it's still no excuse for procrastination.
You're busy with college too, I presume. I have been seeing your deviations pop up but recently have not managed to get around to commenting on them. They're still in my inbox, though, and I do promise to get to them. Soon! Hope you're doing well in college, though? -
Still. Takes a certain kind of person to do this kind of thing, to want to do this, and I think that does speak volumes about you (positive, of course). And come on, don't think of it badly. Rare that there's a civil discussion about such stuff on the Internetz. Thank you for that.

Ever read a previous conversation from a year or two ago and think "What the **** was I thinking when I wrote this?" The conversation I had with you was one such conversation.
I'm trying to stop my habit of arguing. It has to do with the fact that I'll be an engineer eventually and no words can ever argue as well as the results of the machines I work on. Results speak more than words in the field of engineers. That and the fact that I may come of as adversive. I'm really just on D.A. to hang out and make some friends.
Yeah, Shadow talks well of you too. I think she thinks highly of all of her friends. I'm not as inspiring and supportive as the person I used to be, but I still try to guide her through her school days.
Shadow told me something about you serving mandatory service. You fill boots I would never be able to. Unpatriotic and a coward, that's me.
I would never expect or even want you to comment on every little thing I draw on D.A. I know I don't comment on everything. Comments can never replace a conversation, and if I had to choose between having a single conversation with someone or a hundred comments, I'd choose the single conversation.
As for college, It doesn't really keep me as busy as other people. When I'm not with friends or at school, I just kinda float around the net, whether it be on a videogame or D.A. Much like a phantom, I never have much to say to anyone who doesn't talk to me first. My shyness is what causes me to be so much like a phantom.
Anyways, thanks for acknowledging what my initial problem. Sometimes, I feel I go a bit too far.
